This Privacy Policy explains how Sourcing collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Sourcing website, administrative workspace, browser extensions, APIs, and related services.
Information we handle#
Depending on how you use Sourcing, we may handle account and identity information such as your name, email address, role, organization, system identifier, authentication records, device information, and session activity.
Sourcing may also handle operational information entered or generated through the service, including client and project details, targets, assignments, sourcing decisions, QA outcomes, duplicate-attempt records, audit events, and support communications.
Please provide only information that is relevant to the approved Sourcing workflow and avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.
Website contact requests and newsletter subscriptions#
When you submit a contact or demo request on this website, we store the name, work email address, company, team-size selection, focus area, optional message, request status, and submission timestamps so the team can review and respond to the inquiry. Please do not include candidate-sensitive or other unnecessary sensitive information in the message field.
When you subscribe to website updates, we store your email address, subscription status, and subscription timestamps to maintain the subscription record. You can request that the subscription be stopped by contacting us through the contact page.
How we use information#
We use information to authenticate users, provide role-appropriate access, operate and secure the Sourcing workspace and extensions, coordinate sourcing and QA work, manage projects and targets, maintain auditability, respond to support requests, detect misuse, investigate security events, improve reliability, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on an appropriate legal basis such as providing the requested service, complying with a legal obligation, protecting the service and its users, or obtaining consent for an optional activity.
Access and sharing#
Access to Sourcing information is controlled by account roles, permissions, authentication requirements, and operational need. Authorized administrators may access information necessary to manage users, clients, projects, targets, assignments, QA work, security, and audit records.
We may use selected hosting, infrastructure, security, communications, support, and other service providers when they are needed to operate Sourcing. We share only information relevant to the service they provide and apply appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards where required.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when necessary to comply with law, respond to a lawful request, protect the rights and safety of Sourcing users, investigate suspected abuse, or protect the security and integrity of the service.
Extensions, APIs, and third-party websites#
Sourcing extensions and APIs may process information needed to provide an approved workflow, such as matching an authorized target, recording a decision, or completing a requested action. Extension access should be limited to the permissions and websites needed for that workflow.
When Sourcing interacts with a separate website or service, the interaction is limited to the approved workflow and the permissions required for that workflow. Users should use extensions and APIs only for authorized, lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable website rules.
Retention#
We retain account, operational, security, audit, and support information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or meet legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by information type and operational requirement.
When information is no longer required, it may be deleted, anonymized, or securely archived in accordance with applicable requirements.
Security#
Sourcing uses access controls, protected administrative routes, authenticated APIs, session controls, device and activity records, and audit-oriented safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access and support investigation. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Users should protect their credentials, keep approved devices secure, avoid sharing tokens, use only authorized extensions, and report suspected account or security incidents promptly.
International processing#
Sourcing information may be processed in countries different from the country where you access the service. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism or other recognized protection.
Privacy rights and requests#
Depending on your location and the role of the relevant organization, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about processing. We may need to verify your identity and may apply lawful exceptions or limitations.
Submit a privacy request through the Sourcing support channel or the administrator responsible for your Sourcing account. We will handle the request according to applicable law and the responsibilities of the relevant data controller or organization.
Children#
Sourcing is designed for authorized business and operational use and is not directed to children. Do not use Sourcing to knowingly collect information from a child in violation of applicable law.
Changes to this Policy#
We may update this Policy when the service, data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate Sourcing channel where required.
